Exposé of Reality

Without music the highs and lows of the minute to minute meld. They become a taste-less, even existence, not a passionate in-your-face experience. In this case the popular notion of balance is not a good thing. Or, sung in a slightly sharper pitch, a bit out-of-tune maybe. In I IV V: moderation is boring.

Feedback is the crossing of signals in music: a mic facing the wrong direction, setting-off bothersome metallic screeches, or a speaker too exposed for the public. A-not-so-PC-pretty-behind-the-scenes exposé of reality? This is a great thing.

A bass guitar resting on a vacant stage for example. The anticipation of what’s to come. . .

Very few things are better.
