From a crack to a shatter to crumbling Lego-like bricks. “It still works,” its owner says. How many would have bought a new iPhone at crack?
The clichéd drop my phone on purpose to buy the latest hyped incarnation: faster, thinner, better camera, versus, “It still works,” is on my mind.
My first Gen still works, too. I pocket a 5, though. I’m ready for iBeacon at my local MLB stadium soon.
How much is the materialistic fueling the newness of things for us? Is change for chance’s sake part of the motivation. Is change a good thing whether we acknowledge it or not?
